Personal Intro

Hey, my name is Luis Lugo a former professional athlete now an entrepreneur and student at the University of Tampa.

Having played at the highest levels, from the Houston Dynamo Academy to Florida Gulf Coast University, and professionally with Carolina Core FC. I’ve learned a lot about myself within these experiences and found my true calling to was to pursue sports business and sports finance. LugoSport is my personal platform where I dive deep into the business side of sports, breaking down the behind the scenes deals that go on in the industry

Personal Projects and Experience

Over the years, I’ve gained real experience in the sports world — from facilitating the college recruiting process for high school athletes with Prospect2player. Then launching Tekker90 and developing project management skills including securing sponsors for our very first tournament. Additionally interning with, Sueños Sports and learning the business behind the game. That journey sparked a real passion for sports business and finance, which is why I’ve decided to pursue it fully and continue my education at the University of Tampa. Everything I do now is focused on building within this space and sharing the insights I’ve picked up along the way.
